These attributes scored highly among the 1,000 survey respondents, which included 3 generations of homeowners – Boomers, Gen-X and Millennials. Most reported success in finding a home that met the majority of their needs. As a whole, 89.9% of surveyed homeowners reported being “happy” with their homes.
For owners who were dissatisfied with their homes, the reasons included one or more of the following: noisy location, pest infestations, poor layout, lack of privacy, lack of outdoor space, or the home being too small.
