Northwestern Wisconsin Holiday Events John Flor

The holidays are right around the corner, and Northwestern Wisconsin offers the perfect setting to enjoy the season. Here’s a sampling of holiday events in the area!

Holiday Craft & Vendor Market, Cedar Mall. Located at 2900 S. Main St., Rice Lake. Starting Nov. 11 and running every weekend until Christmas! Handmade gifts, homemade treats, unique decorations and more. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Located at 2900 S. Main St., Rice Lake.

Tree Lighting Ceremony, Cumberland Chamber of Commerce, 1277 2^nd Ave, Cumberland. Nov. 22 starting at 4 p.m. Refreshments, treats and holiday specials will be offered by local businesses. Street closure from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for pedestrian safety.

Christmas Village, Irvine Park. 125 Bridgewater Ave., Chippewa Falls. Opens for the season Nov. 24 at 5 p.m., and operates evenings through January 1^st, 2023. An immersive holiday wonderland with over 75,000 lights and 100 life-size scenes, including Victorian era replicas.

Small Business Saturday, downtown Chetek. Nov 26, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Support local merchants and enjoy holiday specials, entertainment and refreshments.

Holiday Parade, downtown Rice Lake. Thursday Dec. 1. A community tradition for fifty years! Parade starts downtown on Main Street at 6 p.m.

Family Fun Day & Christmas Parade, Chetek Center and downtown Chetek. Dec. 3. The fun begins at 3 p.m. at the Chetek Center on 1^st Avenue with visits from Santa, sleigh rides, snacks, hot chocolate and shopping specials. The inaugural Christmas Parade of Lights steps off at 6 p.m. in downtown Chetek.

Winter Magic, downtown Ladysmith, Miner Plaza and Memorial Park. Dec 3. Events include a cookie walk/bake sale, craft fair, pop-up shops, horse-drawn wagon rides, visits with Santa and more. Christmas parade begins downtown at 5 p.m. For details call City Hall at 715-532-2600.
