The Barron County real estate forecast: hot! June brought a sizzling summer of home sales with 116 transactions for the month. According to data from the Wisconsin Realtors® Association, this is the highest number of Barron County home sales transactions for any month, going back to 2007.
Home sale prices are up, too! The median home price in Barron County in June was $178,000. This is the highest median home price for any June on record. The only month on record with a higher median price was August 2019, which reached $178,013.
Barron County homes are also selling relatively quick, spending an average of 61 days on market this spring, according to data from the National Association of Realtors®.
Meanwhile, mortgage interest rates have set new record lows week-over-week, which has galvanized home buyers.
