19th Annual Hydroflites Ice Fishing Contest
When: February 10, 2018; 8 AM to 2 PM
With over $15,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs, this ice fishing contest is not one to miss! Ice fishers of all ages are invited to attend and prizes will be awarded to first and second place winners in each age division. Registration begins at 7 AM and the fish weigh-in will take place at 2:15 PM on the ice in front of Gilligan’s. Throughout the event, the Hydroflites will be serving brats, hot dogs, chili, and other refreshments. Proceeds from the contest will go to support the Hydroflites’ youth program as well as help with the purchase of equipment.
Chetek Winter Fest
When: February 23-24, 2018; 3 PM to 7 PM Friday and 8 AM to 7 PM Saturday
This highly-anticipated event is held every year and includes a snowmobile race on what is called the “Fastest Track in Wisconsin!” Friday night’s kick-off will feature the inaugural run of the Snow Outlaws lake racers, while Saturday will be jam-packed with events like a pancake breakfast, fun runs, kids activities, soup cook-off, scavenger hunt, ice rink and more! What better way to spend a winter weekend than at Chetek Winter Fest? We’ll see you there!
