May 24, and Saturdays through Sept 20: Chetek Farmers Market. Locally grown produce, artisan foods and more. Located at the Pine Lodge Shop, 2420 6 1/4 Ave.
May 26: Memorial Day Parade, Eau Claire. Parade begins at 9:30 a.m. at Wilson Park and ends at the Haas Fine Arts center. The memorial ceremony follows at Owen Park.
May 30-June 1: Chetek City-Wide Garage Sales. 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Browse for bargains throughout Chetek! Multiple garage sale locations with household goods, clothing, toys, collectibles and more. Look for “garage sale” signs posted around the area.
May 30-June 8: Aquafest, Rice Lake. Hometown festival with various events each day. See the website for schedule and details!
May 31: Cameron Craft & Vendor Fair. 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Cameron High School, 750 1st St. Featuring 100 crafter and vendor booths with handmade items and specialty products. 50/50 drawing, raffles, food trucks and face painting for kids.
June 2: Taste of Chetek. 5 p.m-7 p.m. Phillips Park pavilion, 270 Lakeview Drive. Enjoy food samples and beverages from local area restaurants. Tickets required, sold on location. Downtown shopping specials too!
June 13: Wine Walk, Chetek. 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Shop n’ sip! Downtown Chetek businesses will offer wine samples, shopping specials and extended hours.
June 28: Rusk County Fly-In and Pancake Brunch. 9 a.m.-2 p.m. N5602 Flambeau Drive. Small aircraft show with planes in action. Public welcome to view aircraft and enjoy pancake brunch, admission free, $10 for brunch.
July 3-6: Chetek Libertyfest. 4 days of fun! A variety of events each day including sports tournaments, water ski shows, live music, craft and vendor fair, kids activities, parade and a big fireworks show! See the website for details.
July 12: Brew & Rib Fest, Chetek. 1 p.m.-5 p.m. BBQ rib competition and craft beers from micro-brewers. Live music. Admission includes beer samples, rib tasting and commemorative mug. Buy tickets early, this event sells out! Tickets are available at the official website, chetekbrewfest.com.
