1. 2019 Barron County real estate is off to a strong start. January home sales in Barron County are up by 40% compared to January 2018. Median home prices in Barron County are up by about 5.4% compared to January 2018.
Since home prices typically rise higher as we get closer to summer, the early birds in our spring market will enjoy an advantage!
2. Mortgage interest rates are still pretty darn good. As of February 21, 2019, new 30-year fixed-rate mortgages were averaging about 4.35%, close to what they were in February 2018. (The rates you are offered depend on your overall credit quality, mortgage type and so on.)
